Gardens at Southmead Hospital gardens have received a makeover thanks to Simplyhealth.
Green fingered employees from local healthcare provider, Simplyhealth, have transformed a tired and over-grown garden at Southmead hospital.
The volunteers from the Bristol office of Simplyhealth relaid paving, planted new shrubs, cleared away overgrown bushes and varnished benches and pergolas.
It was part of Simplyhealth’s Bothered Britain Week.
Patients and visitors to the hospital’s renal unit will benefit from the revamped and improved garden.
Trevor Reid, from the Shine together fundraising team said “We are delighted that employees from Simplyhealth took time out of their day to help improve the garden at Southmead for the benefit of patients and their families; without their help it may have been some time before funding could be allocated to improve this communal area.” |
